Donated by Dr. Rudolph Reichert, this 100 acre parcel is in north Washtenaw and south Livingston Counties. We hold a conservation easement but the owner­ of the preserve is Legacy Land Conservancy.

The property is near Portage Lake and protects a large contiguous block of creek and lake front­age, dry oak forests, and wetlands with tamarack swamps, fens and wet meadows.
