This 8-acre wetland preserve is in Oceola Township, located on Hughes Road, south of M-59. It is part of a vast wetland ecosystem known as Logan Lakes. Bogue Creek flows through Lower Logan Lake into the southern branch of the north flowing Shiawassee River. The preserve has a nice diversity of plants and animals and is considered a prime habitat for the Massasauga Rattlesnake. The preserve was donated by Dianne & Ron Winfrey and Jo Anne & John Normile in memory of the women’s parents.
